It’s just a removable rubber cover that doesn’t slide. You have to pick it up and flip it around to move it to the other position (cup-holder vs wireless charging pad on ‘22 model).
@Trauma - Look underneath. Most folks don't realize that it is on a tray under the cup holders until they dig down in there. If it's not down there, then it may in fact be missing. Hope it is there!
EDIT: @umbertob made a great post (Link) re: adding a GMRS to his Defender. In there, he has this pic. He attached his radio to that rubber pad. That location is where it is typically stored. Good luck!

This is DEFINITELY something I would pick up on Alibaba or Alibamazon. As long as it has the fit or function, I'm in. I'm surprised that they are priced like they are made out of Unobtanium.
Yep mine was one of the first MY2022 and it was missing on mine, the salesman showed me a buletin from LR saying that it was removed from MY2022 onwards for some reason
