Beautiful 996 and 991!! - my 997 "sunroof delete" was not an option

If it happens again I’ll get up there and see if I can find any gumminess. Since its less than a year old it seems unlikely, but ya never know.

Thanks! To be fair, on the Turbo it was Sunroof Delete; on the 991.1 it was Just Don’t Order And Pay For a Sunroof.

I think I'm the only other person on the planet that would prefer a sunroof delete on almost every vehicle. Convertible, I'm in. If not, I'm out.

Nope, I'm in the same boat. Much prefer not having a sunroof on any vehicle.

When I bought a 911 Turbo a number of years ago I wanted a low-miles used one, but sunroof is standard and free on Turbo, optional on Carrera, and I wanted no SR. So I had to search for a car that had been ordered with the Sunroof Delete option, as well as all the other criteria I wanted. Took 5 months but I finally wound up with exactly the match, and amazingly it was about 20 minutes away from my house (I was doing a nationwide search.)

Otherwise I’m loving it so far and hoping someone can offer a reset solution or share your experience and how it was resolved. Thanks in advance.
Had that prvlem with my first defender. Happened every once and while. Was 22 model I think!
