(still doing my build homework) I wonder if there's an option to get just heated, but not cooled seats. Heating adds some complexity and weight but not much, but cooled seats might get tricky. Anyone here knows how exactly the cooled seats are designed? Is it just air ducts, or something more complicated like a small heatpump?

I don’t notice it from normal viewing angles on mine. I have the extended black exterior pack.

Being that the plate is so far down, it’s gonna get peppered just from normal driving…especially in gloss black. If it were me, I’d have it Line-X’ed or do it yourself with a Raptor spray kit. Both of those will make the plate disappear but add durability/repair-ability (you can touch them up)

Probably worth mentioning since you asked about color in this thread: The genuine LR front undershield is not painted silver. I believe it's "raw aluminum" type of finish, as someone else said that the genuine LR under shield is pretty thick metal. It's not painted. I think the raw aluminum look is spot on because I've bashed it a few times, & my trail damage isn't noticeable -- the scuffs match the rest of it pretty well. Simple and utilitarian. So even with some bashing it looks good. Unlike the black powder coated steel skid plates I've had on other trucks that have silver gashes all over.

On my 110 S I ordered the Cold Weather pack which has just heated (not cooled) seats along with heated wheel, windshield and washer jets I believe

Heated seats were standard on my SE. No cooling needed where I'm at.
