Things you don't want to hear: "Your car is leaking all over the driveway"
My wife informs me that my Defender is leaking all over the driveway. My first fear was that I just changed the oil yesterday and maybe the oil filter wasn't tight enough. Nope, some sort of leakage problem coming from the back. It's washer fluid, rapidly dripping from that tiny nozzle that washes the lower rear camera. Tried poking it with a pin to see if it is just stuck open. No luck, so plugged it with a screw and wrapped it in electrical tape to just stop the leak for now. At least I made it to 9 months and 20K miles before the first issue appeared.
Mine always drips a bit of washer fluid in the winter. It's a fairly common issue, but I've never seen it **** washer fluid like that. Wow.
LOL...I had the "why is there a wet dot on my pants" after accessing the load space as you described. But this will eventually dump all 2 gallons of washer fluid on my driveway.
I have the same issue; the washbottle regularly empties itself in about 7 days. I have tried flushing through with clean warm water i.e. containing no windscreen fluid, but that hasn't helped. I really don't want to pull the rear bumper just for this - do you or anyone know the reference number or could post a copy of the TSB for this ? If there is a TSB then hopefully it's a warranty job and someone else can drop the bumper
