Default Help with oil leak?

Hey Gang,
My 2000 D2 leaves about a palm sized oil spot on the driveway overnight. While I understand that fixing all the leaks is not feasible, I feel this one is a bit too much. Mostly, I hate leaking cars messing up the driveway.

Here is my art shot of the phenomenon (vehicle flipped around so you get the logo!)

So having crawled under the motor and inspected things here's what I've noticed:
* Does not seem to be coming from the front of the engine (such as crank seal)
* When I changed the oil, I could see oil start pooling around the pan bolt IMMEDIATELY, defiantly!
* Pan bolts seem tight (have heard they can loosen)
* Mostly from Passenter side
* Front pumpkin is soaked

I know it's really hard to show in pictures but can anyone give me ideas where they thing this might be coming from based on experience?

So what is above the motor mount and oil filter that this might be leaking from? I tend to think it's not the head (?) as it leaks when not running and just putting oil in it!
Any ideas here?
Thanks!
Nick

It is not leaking from those points, it is just the place where the oil collects before it drips down on the ground. Just clean everything thoroughly and let it dry. Spray baby powder on the block and the origin of the leak should be visible quickly.

Yes, I know it's not leaking oil from the motor mount. LOL

I'll try the baby powder. Not sure how to clean this though... Pressure washer? will it ever run again?

I clean by hand. First old rugs to wipe the oil and dirt off, spray the parts with "Awesome" all purpose cleaner from Dollar Tree, rinse, wipe, repeat until clean. A toilet brush helps too.

Have you done the PCV mod yet? Once done the leak points narrow down, in most likely order, to valve cover gaskets, crucifix seals, head gaskets, and front main seal. Start by tightening the outer valve cover bolts and it should slow down drasticallly. Clean the engine thoroughly, oven cleaner and purple power work great - it may take multiple spray-wipe/rinse cycles to get it clean.

Thanks! Have not done the PCV yet, but the part is ordered.
Did not look like the valve covers were leaking. The PO did the head gaskets and I really hope that's not it!
I'll add the PCV, then clean it like mad. Might even put some UV dye in it to help trace it out.

While I was under there I looked at the drive shaft grease points. Unscrewed the zirc fitting and it did not look like there was anything in there (front). I think I got some in, but my grease gun was acting up. Freakin mess!
thanks!

I just did the pcv mod also. Easy 5 minute job. Cleaned my oil up hoping that I don’t have any actual bad gaskets and the mod just needed done

Could this possibly be oil pan grommets? I’ve had no leaks for a while and all of a sudden oil was found leaking last week. I found one of the grommets half way out.

I had something similar, was the oil pressure sender. Has a little O ring that hardens up.

Any sign of oil around valve covers, etc?

also check the bolts that hold oil filter housing (block side) I've seen those back out a little over time and leak from there. Most likely it's a front seal as that looks similar to one of mine and the front main replacement cleared everything right up.
