Three observations around noise relating to P300 v P400
I couldn't agree more. The V8 is a masterpiece - one of the best sounding European V8s ever produced. My only complaint is that unlike most V8s, it doesn't have a lot of torque. It is there, but you have to rev it out to get all of it. Then again, that's just an excuse to go up to the 8,250 rpm redline.
I have a P300 and have observed all of those things since new as well.
1. The cooling fan really ramps up on a hot day once you shut the vehicle off. I assume this has something to do with cooling the turbo.
2. The relays clicking are very common. What they do... no clue.
3. The exhaust has a decent rumble. Even stomping on the gas gives a decent sound out the back.
Nice choice on with the steel wheels, they look great
