I couldn't take it anymore...the keyless entry not working broke the camel's back... radio, traffic and cameras sometimes going off I could deal with, but running up to door in traffic or rain was a bit too much, so I started using the key fob all the time...was back at the dealer twice. goodbye and good luck( by the way, I should have never traded my velar for the defender, now have a new Q7)

That sucks Patrick. Just curious if you had the same issues with the activity key? If you didnt have one did the dealer offer that as a possible solution?

I have the activity key. One of the advantages is that it appears to have better "reach" than the traditional key fob in my experience. I am using it daily now, and have not had any instances of the car failing to open, either with the button on the door of from a distance, or start (although even with the key fob those were very rare instances for me, they did happen occasionally.)

Sorry to see you go, but I understand that not everyone prioritizes the LR capabilities over the odd quirks.

Q7 is a great vehicle, we came very close to adding one to the family motor pool. There would be an SQ7 in my garage if it came with a spare tire instead of the useless third row seats. (Like it does in markets outside North America)
