Default Update to OS 4.1.0?

I just got an update (45 minutes estimate) that should be installing now, for "OS 4.1.0", and it mentions all kinds of steering assist updates. Could this be some sort of Level 2 self driving? The description certainly read that way, but there was a caveat that it wouldn't apply to all vehicles.

I was low on time, so I didn't take screenshots. I also assumed this would already be posted here, but I can't find anything.

Has anyone else seen this?

But is this new functionality? My car doesn't do automatic steering.

No. The release notes are generic and this is one of the exceptions.

I wonder if 4.0 is needed to get this update.

I'm still on 3.3.2 after my last update vanished after repeated failed installs.

lane assist as it currently sits is unusable and a real driver hindrance. Would be nice to see LR keep up with much more basic vehicles in this regard.

Even after opening a ticket with LRNA, then going to the dealer to have issues fixed to supposedly allow updates to take, I still see nothing. Are there obvious changes I should see for 3.x, 4.x ?

Just got the update request for my v8 so I’ll install it tonight. I’ll check if the v6 is also ready for install but it’s usually a few weeks behind the other.
