Frankly, I think Lane Centering Assist is over hyped. It is a cool party trick, but not something I drive with daily - if ever. I have it on two other cars and it works, but to me it comes down to the fact that I still have to WATCH the car. Although the lane center assist works decent I still can’t trust it in ALL situations and therefore I just turn it OFF. Until automation is to the point where you can literally (and legally) close your eyes and take nap, I don’t need or want to pay extra for automation that I still have to babysit.
