... Simon on PowerfulUk showed that the ACC comes from the bar with the land rover badge on it. That's way higher up.
Exactly. The cameras are at least obvious and avoidable with minimal effort. The ACC sensor _is_ hidden behind the logo badge in the front upper bumper grill. They make separate parts which vary only as to whether or not you have adaptive cruise.
Thanks for info on this thread. I bought the Sly Brackets and they were high quality, fit great and kept me from having to put a couple holes in the bumper.
Just ordered my Sly Bracket plate holder, thanks for the great info here on the Forum! We moved to CO a few weeks ago and have to clutter up the front of all our vehicles with a lame front plate now 🤦🏼♂️.
One note about the Sly Bracket. I've had mine on for 10 months or so this year. Extremely pleased with it.
Notably, on a bit of a high speed "water over the hood" moment with @GavinC the front number plate bent up. (I had it only secured with two screws). Bent up so badly I've ordered a new license plate from the DMV. The bracket, however, solid as a rock. So was the grille on the car it was attached to.
(I goosed it for the photo/video ... it was clearly too fast)

Worth it for the picture. Glad I could be a bad influence here.
Comes in two models, one is centered if you don't have the factory front skid plate/armor and one offset if you do. The centered one looks pretty low, so something you'd want to remove before actually offloading I suspect.
Does anyone have a stock one they're not using and are willing to sell?
A great option I've found are these adhesive-backed studs which can be used with the stock plate brackets. 3M VHB will come off your bumper with some heat. 4 of them should be plenty of surface area to hold your plate and bracket on.
