You're driving a $100k+ car and now you have to invest $1500,- to replace the rear windows.
Just do it, I think it's worth.

 

Is it really only $1,500 to replace both glass panels? I thought I heard they were about $1,400 each.....of course plus installation.

Definitely a consideration.

 

Welp, after a year since ordering the V8 Carpathian Edition is finally at the dealer. Picking her up in a week when I get back from my current trip. Dealer sent me this pic:

 

Looking fantastic I bet you can’t wait to get home. I assume it’s fully loaded and no substitute parts (due to chip shortages) given this is the premium trim level? Out of chance did you get the spare wheel cover? I have ordered one with my CE and no one seems able to tell me what colour it will be - hoping for gloss black to match the hood/roof/rear door.

@russelldav I’m not aware of any constraints on the V8s and the dealer didn’t mention anything missing, but I will report back once I see for myself.

I didn’t get the wheel cover. At the time when I my freeze date was up that one option pushed the build date back by there months when entered into Vista, so I passed figuring that I can always add it later as an accessory, so unfortunately I don’t know what color it is.

Will they install roof rails? On the configurator and the accessory page it says all of the roof options (rails, ladder, rack) are "not applicable for vehicles with V8 engines."

 

No you have to do it after market but it’s very straight - YouTube guide available.
