V8 looks awesome, @is21447 ! Get used to that imagery of it at a gas station.....
V8, 6, 4.... They all love to be fueled. Trust me on this! They are heavy beasts. I'm wondering how long it will take before someone posts one of these upfitted! (Link) Would LOVE to get one, but the shipping cost threw cold water on my fantasy.

Averaging about 15mpg in mine.
Also as the comparison to the Raptor, the Defenders gross vehicle weight is about 450lbs more. I don’t describe the Defender V8 as fast.

I’m averaging about 17 right now in the first week, mostly city driving but it’s fine. My wife’s is averaging 19 mpg so it’s a bit expected. I do love the double-takes this vehicle makes, whether it’s when driving or when it’s parked, people just gawk.
Has anyone found aftermarket wheels that fit over the brake calipers? I have been having very bad luck in getting some 20” wheels for mine. I ordered Alstons back in January, but they are somewhere in a ship with no firm delivery dates. I tried another wheel from Fuel and it rubbed on the calipers.
Is there a magic measurement that I am missing to ensure it will fit on the V8?
After 65K miles, went from 2020 X to 2023 V8... the V8 is so much more complete and better driving experience all around... not that the p400 felt lacking, Its only in driving the V8 for a couple of weeks that I realize what I was missing. Instant torque, better pick up in all situations especially passing on highway, better suspension \, better on road manners and handling, smoother ride on bumpy roads and dirt. I live in a semi rural area and while I haven't pushed the boundaries off road, its better than my X on dirt and gravel roads... Not sure why exactly? it's not something I expected. I thought X plus more HP... but it's actually much more than that. V8 obviously has Dynamic mode in TR, but besides that Im not sure the difference in suspension? Beefier springs and sway bars I presume... result is better on road manners and surprisingly better off road or maybe I should say rough road... some images of my build so far:
yellow film on fogs... aluminum font underbody protection and exposed tow hook side steps, roof rack, classic mud flaps BF Goodrich KO2's
Finally got a chance to take some side pics with the new black steps and modern mud flaps.
I love that you have blue calipers all the way around. I'll be curious to see what my '23.5 Carpathian is delivered with.
The side steps and mudflaps look great!
