Waze map is now on the dashboard display?
I was only using Google Map and I was hoping this for a while. I should try Waze. Thanks for sharing!

 

What is the benefit of a Waze map vs Android Auto/Google map? Ilooks similar.

 

I like Waze for the police reporting, so I can hopefully avoid speeding tickets lol

 

I just tried Waze and now showing up on my dashboard. either LR maps or Apple maps in 2D (I don't even know how to change between these 2). How can you make Waze show up on your dashboard?

 

FYI, mine is 2023 75th Defender 90 running OS 4.14 installed on 2/15/25 and the Pivi shows software is up to date..

 

I see Waze on the main Pivi screen, but not the Dash screen. How do you get it to show map there?

I normally see the Pivi or Android Auto maps on the dash screen. But with Waze I only see this:

 

I tried Apple Map navigation on 4.1.4 yesterday. Dash screen shows direction blue color on map screen in direction of travel view but when this is active, Apple Map on Pivi screen only shows full route look only with no option to change to typical direction of travel map with other info (turns, ETA, etc). Would love to see Google Map or Waze on the dash board screen.

 

What version are you running and if you change to 1 dial screen layout, still shows the same?

 

Seems to be a Waze update that is enabling it.
