Default Weird missing part?

Hi

I’ve got what looks like a missing part underneath my 2021 p400e 110 Defender, with 3000 miles on it. Does anyone know what’s supposed to be here? This is the view from near the exhaust, looking to the front.

Anyone else’s look like this?

My P400e is exactly the same, so unless coincidentally the same part has dropped off I guess its supposed to be like that?!

Mine appears the same (photo slightly angled, but should be good enough).

Thanks for that.

Seems odd. Looks like it should be capped off. Wonder what attaches there.

Could be the way that part is mounted in the sequencing racks that get delivered line side during the manufacturing process. Just a guess though.

I believe there is an "option" that attaches there and a tube is screwed in the plug below for some reason

I'm pretty sure that's the intake for the optional LR nitrous system

I would bet that is a machined reference datum point

One is about a technological fixture for machining the whole body of the differential.
