I’ve been messing with this area on-and-off for several months. I think I’ve tracked it down to the contact area between the trim piece and the inner panel (see photo). Put a bunch of painters tape in there and the squeak appears to be gone. Also removed the small black screw holding the trim piece - that way the trim can be easily removed while driving for some peace and quiet.

I kid you not, this is what they had to do... They found a bearing that was driving me nuts. No clue how it got in the car....

It’s not pretty, but stuffing a towel in the steering column stopped a super annoying “squeak”. The sound is on the upper-left steering column behind the “fabric” (fake leather?). Not sure how involved it would be to actually get in there and do something more permanent.

I carry a fair amount of gear in my truck so I hear stuff all time anyway, but stuffing towels and painters tape to mitigate squeaks is so unsat for vehicles costing this much.

Default my most annoying rattle-like thing

This ball bearing/marble was interesting to see.

For about two weeks, whenever we accelerated or braked, we could hear something, literally, rolling around in the roof on the driver's side. After some creative accelerating and breaking, it sounded like I got it to roll over my head and into the driver's said front pillar, where I suspect whatever it is silently jammed. That was 4 months ago, I put it in the back of my mind and left it there until I saw this post:

Rattle from the passenger rear seat. The seat bottom was loose caused by a semi-stripped and crooked screw that wasn’t fully tightened. Appears to have happened during sloppy assembly. Tapped out the captured nut (8mm x 1.25), and replaced the screw. Now all is quiet (at least in that area).
(photo is with the seat bottom removed).

Anyone have/solved a rattle coming from the second row seats? I have the three row model.

I have a rattle which appears to be from my B pillars in a 110 D300 SE - annoying and getting louder but very hard to pinpoint where its coming from.

Ive now cleaned all the rubber seals and applied shin-etsu grease. Pretty amazing stuff, and makes the seals feel amazingly smooth and soft. I notice the level of sealing has improved as I now have positive pressure when closing the drivers door, however the rattle remains so back to the drawing board!

I've had an annoying rattle coming from my driver's door bass speaker ever since I took delivery. My dealer tried to fix it numerous times but nothing worked. I took it to another dealer where they replaced the speaker, but it still didn't work. Applying pressure to the speaker grille stops the rattle. At this point I should just dynamat the doors.
