Misleading and a little unfair to call it a Ford V8. It was actually developed by Jaguar engineers in the mid nineties before Ford acquired them. You could say it was a Ford built engine, but still misleading of course. 😄

SVR, SVX or Sport, whatever it is it better come with better seats. The seats in my '22 X-Dynamic are so flat I slide out of them in a low speed traffic circle. Probably my least favourite thing about this rig.

The whole Sport concept is fingers-crossed that it's more RRS than Disco Sport. That baby Disco is like a clown car in person.

So we can do 18's or 19's on a little disc SVR?

So I guess I can blame the Jaguar engineers for an engine with plastic coolant crossover pipes that get brittle and crumble. I paid $1500 to proactively replace them on our LR4, while other LR4 and RRS owners had to buy a $12K engine when their plastic coolant pipes failed. Amazing how many nice LR4's are for sale for $6K that just need a new engine.

OMG, that's a signature JLR feature.

Now that Jag is going all-EV, I'm 100% certain they're having high-level meetings as to how they can still get some brittle coolant tubes in there.

If I didn't know any better, I'd say these are some form of Braid Forged 4x4 wheels.

"Remember when Sabine Schmitz almost broke a 10 minute lap in a cargo van! She was passing Porsches and sport bikes left and right."

As my rowing coach used to say, "It's not the chariot, it's the horse."
