I'm running a set of OEM Style 516 20" wheels from an LR4 XXV Edition wrapped in LT265/60R20 Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws. These wheels were standard on the 2014 LR4 XXV Edition, which was limited to 225 units for the North American market. Luckily all XXV Editions came with the HD pack giving you the two-speed transfer case, rear diff lock and a full-size spare, so I got five wheels. These wheels were also available as a dealer-installed accessory for the 2015MY. I wouldn't be surprised if I have the only Defender on the planet with this wheel setup.

They had a decent number of them on the lot and so it took me awhile to decide which one I liked best. Somehow, my sales guy and I both missed the fact that the one I picked don’t have the air suspension, which was a must have for me. I didn’t realize it until I was home that night. I was going back in on Saturday to pick up a D90 for my mother and I joked with the sales manager about how blind I was by missing the air suspension and custom wheels. He said go pick another one and I will back this sale out. While I was back on the lot looking again, my sales guy came up and told me that someone had just canceled their order for a V8 that had just come in that morning. Which is how I ended up with the V8. I figured that the V8 would be good to have, with the extra torque.
I do a lot of dirt roads which is why I got the RAI, I don’t think it even increases wading depth, so definitely not for that! 😀
Many Defender owners are running aftermarket wheels like the KMC KM542 Dirty Harry, Method 701 or 703, Compomotive PD1880, and Terrafirma steel wheels. Most go with 18x8.5 or 18x9 sizes, usually with offsets around ET20 to ET30 for a wider stance without extreme poke. Be sure to stick with the 5x120 bolt pattern and check brake clearance, especially on models with larger brakes.

Yeah, these are so badass looking. Little less text may look better.
