I discovered that @MattF lives 5 miles from me and I have the exact same model/colors/wheels but in a 90 v his 110.

The only silver lining to mine arriving after his is that I get to see all of his mods before I decide on mine!

I got this cause I was being cheap and it looked sufficient. After 27k miles with it on and many different conditions it's holding up nicely. It's also made out of a rubber so is more grippy I'd think than powerfuk.

However, I think the new version that powerfuluk came out with that covers the entire rear part of the bumper is sweet. You just have to make sure you have the smaller set of tow hook covers or else it will touch and not sit properly.

I installed the ladder and lunchbox the other day and had my new 275/55/20 KO2 tires installed today. I bought 20mm and 25mm H&R spacers for the front/rear and the 20mm didn't fit in the front but the 25mm's fit the rear just fine. I may just leave it as is, I like the stance right now. I think the suspension is in the high mode in these pictures, I think it looks better in the normal mode.

 

I added the LED boot light (purchased from Powerful UK). Our large Golden Retriever often rides in the back, so we have a quilted liner to keep his shedding contained. It blocks what little light comes from the small side lights.

installation too maybe 15 minutes, most of which was watching Simon’s video.

Those look awesome! Can I ask a few questions?
- What model? Are they the Sentinel 9 inch lights?
- Where did you put the switch? Did they come with one or did you use a different part?
- What did you mount them to?
- How long did the install take?

They are the Sentinel 9" Elite.
I put the switch on the side of the steering wheel column, in easy reach.
The two light harness comes with the switch..
They mount to a "Defender mount kit"..
I took my time due to not wanting to damage anything while taking things apart.

You will "need their CAN interface kit and contactless CAN reader" for the high-beam trigger to operate.
I'll have the contactless reader tomorrow and finish it up... Instructions are vague to say the least but I got the answers I needed this morning.

The only issue I found was the anti-vibration bracket they had in the mounting kit was totally useless and not worth the time and hassle to use it.
I came up with my own simple solution using two 5 mm riv-nuts and some aluminum s brackets..= Zero vibration

Yes a 20 mm hole is needed for the switch to pop into, looks factory.
