AFAIK that's the A/C control for the third row/cargo area

I think that’s the OEM air compressor location?

Nah it's the third row AC. To the left would be where the OEM Compressor would slot in. It's not really silver, just a trick of the light. It's dark like all the other plastic back in the back.

Sadly I am bereft of onboard air. It's just the A/C. The OEM Compressor (were I to have one) would sit in a similarly grey plastic box immediately behind it.

Thank you both for the clarification, didn’t realize 3rd row A/C control had a box. That’s why I love this forum!

No worries

They have a similar position and appearance. Easy to confuse the two. Third row A/C is not all that common

(still doing my build homework, just saw these options)

There are two options that may cause this box to exist, "Three-zone Climate Control", and "Three-zone Climate Control with Rear Cooling Assist".

There is one that also may add this box, "40:20:40 Folding, Heated Rear Seats with Center Armrest" - can someone confirm whether this box is present with this option? If it is, I'd rather skip it in favor of extra space.

I have the "Three-zone Climate Control" in my 5 seat 110 and there is no box as mentioned.

Three zone climate control refers to driver, passenger and 2nd row seating.

I installed the Defender3D switchable dual output boot light that allows yellow/white/Off settings.

Looks and installs exactly like the PowerfulUK version…I think they might get there’s from Defender3D, but switchable.

Install took 10min, maybe less. Super easy
