Those 18"s take a beating from the debris between caliper and rim. Expected given the tight clearances. All superficial.
If any of the scrapes are deep and/or sharp, it can be a fatigue point on your wheels. Much like scoring glass, it can crack, right where the score marks are which would result in a catastrophic failure. You may want to consider having a wheel shop smooth out any score marks and re-paint the area. This would fix the potential “hot spots”.
@yangpei took the leap and got the Thule logo off pretty easy. I know they are not OEM but they look pretty dang official to me.
You will need:
- Magic Eraser, 100% Acetone nail polish remover, wet microfiber, dry microfiber, some spray speed wax (i used Chem Guys VO7)
- Soak Eraser with Nail Polish, start rubbing, light pressure, stop and wipe with wet micro, repeat till gone, use dry micro and speed wax for final wipe down.
- Eta: 30 mins once you get the process down

Photo dump for reference. Did a full detail and took a gamble and went with the gloss ladder and box Installed last night took about an hour. PowerfulUK's videos make this stuff a breeze.
My door sills have been taking a beating over the 50,000 miles...found ABS sill protectors on Amazon, figured I would try them. They fit great and do the trick.
However, I did replace the double sided tape that they came with. I used 3M Automotive trim tape.
I cleaned everything with alcohol, did a test fit and used painter's tape to mark the locations, then used the 3M Primer 94 to prep. the surface for better adhesion, heated everything with my heat gun, using the painters tape as guides, I installed the sill plates with lots of pressure and a little heat. They have held up great and the tread pattern matches the OEM. I would buy them again.
