Good eye, can’t help myself, boxy white vehicles just speak to me. This specific boxy white e30 has a S52 swapped in. I joke with my BMW race car buddies that the Defender is basically a BWM, 5x120 bolt pattern, straight 6, and Brembos.
Finished installing the rack at lunch today. Still trying to figure out tires for the Pilbaras, stand by….
Is this the full size rack? Was this the one that slides into the existing rails or the one where you have to remove the rails? I asked because the mounting points don't look right or at least different from what I have.

It’s the larger of the two that use the factory rails.
I wanted to go with the big dog but couldn’t justify the added cost and saw too many posts about the difficulty of removing the factory rails.
Ah ok yup makes sense why it looks a little different! Yup I had trouble with mine so I would say that's a good call if the little bit of added height doesn't matter.
New wheels and tires day. Current setup is 265/70/18 Hankook AT2 on 27et Tuffant Pilbaras, 30mm spacer and 1.5 Johnson Rods. The differing levels of success with tire fitment on these vehicles is shocking. Johnson Rods says you can fit a 275/70/18. There’s no way that’s happening on my truck. I’m getting some slight rubbing at full lock on the forward inner fender liner at normal height and off road height. I’m thinking about playing with the front spacers a bit but not sure how much success I’ll have.
Precise reason I don’t use valet parking. Ever notice the sign over the valet area: NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE OR LOST ITEMS. So, I’m expected to hand over my keys to some teen-to-twenty something, with my dash cams, assorted personal items, and whatever else one carries in their vehicle, and they have no responsibility for any scratches or dents which may occur? Not happening. Attended a wedding once, and after I was just walking into the venue I realized I needed something from my car. Went down into the parking garage and witnessed some barely out of high-schooler screeching tires on someone’s BMW as he sped through the aisles to park it and run back for the next one. Haven’t used a valet since that day.
I know this is a rather old thread....but do you have a link for the wheel? I think it looks awesome, I am not sure I would want to give up my heated wheel option though.
Thanks.
New 110 that I picked up 2 weeks ago. Added the TuffAnt rock sliders and the front bash plate to expose the tow hook. Paint correction, PPF and ceramic coat . Love it !

what do you think of the tuffant sliders? Do your passengers find them to be handy as steps?
