I bought them from powerful uk to expose the recovery hook that was covered by the factory trim .

I still need to replace the bolts to black ones but this is what they look like :

 

Lamin-x smoked film on side markers and rear fogs. It is a bit darker in real life than it appears in the pictures. Also new reverse lights to help the pitiful performance at night.

With the hubbub around the demise of the steel wheels for the US market, I thought I’d give mine a little love. Even with my fairly terrible spraying skills, I’m happy with the results of this wheel rotation turned wheel facelift (hyperdipped in brass monkey).

 

Discovered this weekend that when I installed my rear mud flaps a few weeks back I most likely left the locking lug key on the lug when I tightened it as it was getting dark. 😡

So today I stopped at LR Tacoma and had them remove my locking lugs while I went to the parts counter and bought replacement regular lugs. If someone wants to steal my wheels and knows, where to find me, have at it.

Yep, bought two for the spare. $47 was way cheaper than I thought my dumbass fine would be. 😂

 

Did you just replace the speakers or did you do a sub and amplifier as well?

 

And if using the original speaker wiring, how did you determine positive and negative wires on the lower door speakers? Pretty sure I have 2 identical solid black wires going to my lower door speakers.

 

Polarity of the 2 black wires can be found easily on the backside of the speaker pole plus + , pole minus -

 

I know this is old, but gorgeous. Anyone know what paint color this is?
