This was my first towing experience so not much to compare to, but honestly it was a breeze and I was very happy with the P300. Never felt under powered and felt very confident under braking, I’m was overall quite impressed.

Thanks @Ratledge we can’t wait and will have to check this out. We have secured a great camping spot overlooking the mountains but you can’t have too many good views!

Probably not the solution for everyone, but I just relocate the spare to the roof rack during the camping season. Doesn’t really impact mileage - but does make low clearance garages an issue.

For smaller trailers just get 12-13" inch hitch extender with silencing clamp device, it doesn't affect anything much other than tow assist hitching process.
