Default Wheel Locks

Update...this is the package for the 6 locks and the key for those Defender alloy wheels with satin chrome finish nuts. I found that the pack does have the right key---it was stuck on the bottom of a nut making the nut look two ended and nutsy me never opened the pack as I thought it may have to be returned. The saga has ended at least for me.

Did you know if you order wheel locks for the Defender they do not come with a key? The LR137573 lock pack includes 7 locking nuts but no key. The insert states you have to order the key from a retailer. One of our Defenders came with all the wheel locks installed with the key and spare tire adapter included; the other had only the locks on the spare with a key and spare tire adapter, but none on the 4 wheels. The dealer ordered the locks and they were delivered today; but no key, and they will order the key. So, just a heads up if you order locks to be sure to get the key.

Thanks. It’s funny how some don’t come with locks on the main wheels but with locks on the spare. Any idea why one of your Defenders came with locks and the other didnt?

Which MY was it ? I know that in MY22 one of the changes was that locking nuts were made an option.

My 2021 90 didn't come with locking nuts except for the two on the spare.

Both are 2021's and one came with locks on all wheels and the spare and the other on the spare only. Neither build sheet or Monroney sticker shows the locks as an option, so either they were standard in late 2020 builds for 2021's and then not for early 2021 MY builds. Who knows. However the wheel lock pack has 7 locks in it, so there is one extra I suppose "just in case"?

My 2020 came with 1 locking lug nut on each wheel and 2 (out of 3 nuts) on the spare. Didn't order them and don't much care for them honestly - I have heard horror stories of misplaced or damaged keys - so they must have been standard on MY2020s.

I have tried to look online, to find a black locking set for my MY 2021 and could not find it - or , more than likely I do not know the part number. I am looking for a fit on a 19" wheel, black color. Can anyone please help with some ideas or links ? Thanks !

Have not picked up my car, but the video the dealer sent me of it, seems to show two locking nuts on spare and no locking nuts anywhere else. Back when we got my wife's D5 the wheel lock set was in the trunk still unpacked when I picked up the car, so I am still hopeful, but at the same time skeptical that they will get one. Will know in a couple days.

Greetings.
Quick update on the wheel locks. Could not find any place online which had an definite part number for the Defender 2021 ( 19' wheels ). So, I went to the dealership today. The parts guy, had no idea what item # is needed for the 19" wheels of the MY 2021. While I was there, I had a chance to speak with a tech, who told me the the same locks for L494 would fit just right. And ... indeed they do. So now I have locks and they are also color matching...
Just saying for whomever is interested and did not get a set with their vehicle.
