Recently (not sure exactly when), when I get my 2022 Trophy and my iPhone grabs the Defender's internal WiFi network, I lose all connectivity - the iPhone cannot receive messages, Maps doesn't work, etc. Once I turn WiFi off on the phone and connect via a USB cable, everything works fine. I have had this rig for four years never had this problem. Anyone else experienced this?

Thanks.
We have had issues with voice commands not being recognized by the onboard system, and iPhone communications, since the last software update. Not sure how to remedy. 2023 110x
Let me guess? Your mobile hotspot wifi subscription ran out on the Defender and you no longer pay for the service?
Same thing here on my 2020 110 X.
Toggle off the MOBILE DATA iin Pivi pro and this problem goes away. Leave wireless hotspot on. On mine, after this subscription expired, unfortunately it still trickles a small data connection, which isn’t enough juice for the iPhone date to work effectively and everything times out. But it does, for example, let my fancy radar detector database update -- which is how I know there’s still some small trickle of a mobile data connection happening. That radar detector is not connected to my phone, bluetooth or anything else, so it’s not getting it from anything else. Super weird, I know. But yeah. Try that.
Ignore the red circles, I grabbed this pic from the internet, turn off MOBILE DATA toggle.

Thanks for the suggestions. I disabled mobile data but I still encountered the same problem - my iPhone's WiFi would grab the Defender's WiFi and same result. I do not have the hotspot setting to toggle. I did "reset" connectivity and while that seemed to work, I no can no longer connect wirelessly to CarPlay. When I try to connect to the Defender's WiFi network, I am prompted for a password and the saved password no longer works.
That is indeed quite odd. But - can you answer the question to help troubleshoot this, did 1) Your Defender originally come with the mobile wifi data plan (not all did) and 2) did it expire?
I’d delete your phone(s) from the car, and start over. Delete the Defender from your phone too.
But one thing I do *not* understand. In order for your phone to be connecting to the Defender’s wifi, that password must work. If your phone doesn’t know the password to your Defender’s wifi any longer... the Defender’s wifi cannot in any way be slowing down your phone. Right?
