Default Wind dam for expedition roof rack

Based on my experience and comments here it seems that the expedition roof rack is generating a lot of noise. Has anybody found a decent solution to this like a wind dam. If so, did it reduce the noise substantially? If so what did you find and where can I get one.

I just bought a 46 inch yakima faring. It should get here on Friday so I'll let you know. The rack has a large, curved and wide front end, so I'm not sure if its going to fit/attach. On top of that, there is a little metal wind dam that hangs down as well. If it doesn't attach, I might add it to the first 'regular' bar on the rack and see how that works. guess we'll see how it goes. the faring has an adjustable zip tie like attachment point, so the big question is if it will fit around the first bar or not. the yakima was the only one that I could find that seemed like it could possibly work because of the adjustable attachment point.

Please let us know if that works. I'm also looking for a solution to reduce wind noise from the expedition roof rack

Does the front runner help with the noise?

The fairing made a huge difference on my FrontRunner rack for wind noise. The only thing up to 80mph is the raised air intake wind noise.

Which front runner fairing would fit the original expedition roof rack? I found their naming and measurements a bit confusing.
