Looks great and almost OEM, can you please tell us what size you ordered and how did you cut the slots ? Thanks

That is the most tasteful solution I’ve ever seen for any SUV/rack. It also looks stock and super armored bad ***. Awesome job!!

Found their Facebook page... here is what we all need to order " 52” x 9” fairing with a smile "
It's kind of pricy, but it looks awesome. I will be order one in the near future.

We build a custom one for the expo rack. Built from stainless and aluminum. We found that it is most effective directly in front of the rack. We use the exact angle of the windscreen. it is extremely effective if there are items mounted on the rack. Also we have mounts for limb risers built in. Currently offer this installed at our shop in multiple colors and finishes.

I love all of the mods. You guys are almost 200 miles away. Is there a way for me to order parts like the windscreen, brackets, and rock sliders?

I have the prototype wind deflector from my company truck i can sell you especially if we can trade the front portion of the rack. The rock sliders may be available for online purchase at a later date,

What a great look! I know this thread is old but I just got my 2022 Defender X P400 and it has a roof rack.
Do you happen to have a copy of your order you could email me so that I order the exact wind screen you got?
Technical: What tool did you use to cut the small slots in the existing rack down piece.
Everything else looks self explanatory, the photos you attached were very help full.
Thank you in advance

Did you actually order this from them for your Defender? I want to make sure the sizes are correct because I am going to have a custom wrap done on it.
I have the same defender 110 X and I am looking to order one.
Did you find out how the first guy cut the holes through the existing drop down piece of metal?
Thank you

Default Another option

This is my alternative option for a wind deflector.

The fairing is from iKamper. While not designed for the Defender expedition roof rack, the width is good and there is flexibility in the deflector such that it can follow the shape of the roof rack quite closely.

The other advantage is that the mounting brackets supplied are long. This means they reach PowerfulUK’s roof rack blocks. I bolted them underneath at the front using 65mm M8 coach bolts in place of those supplied by Powerful.

The outer brackets had to have the pre-cut slots widened by around 1mm to accommodate the M8 bolts. The centre bracket has also been bent through 90 degrees and the excess cut off. This is not necessary for fitment, but it gives a neater appearance. I used a 16mm M6 button head bolt to secure the bracket. The fixings are being changed to black to blend with the roof rack.

The only modification I needed to make to the rack itself was drilling a single 6.5mm hole in the standard deflector exactly half way along (43cm).

The height of the fairing is adjustable and, with some trial and error, I am very happy with the fit and how it looks.

It has made a difference too, with wind noise now significantly reduce with both the sunroof closed and open.

Links to the fairing and brackets for anyone that wants to try this solution are as follows:
