Pre-bent brackets are ready and will be included with the hardware set when ordering a 52" x 9" fairing with a smile shape for Defenders.
We also have them on our site if you already have purchased a fairing.

Pre-bent brackets are ready and on our site to be purchased. You can set up for pick up as well and avoid the shipping charges.

Here’s

a shot of our first customer with the pre-bent brackets installed. He said it was easy to install and works great.

Bumping an old tread....

Am looking at getting a fairing, however am slightly confused about the style. Do most people have a reverse smile? Do you have any photos of a smile vs reverse smile? Thanks!!

The Colorado Fairing seems the best solution, and the prebent brackets the result of crowdsharing input on this thread. I still have not installed mine, but intend to. It is specifically designed for the Defender. I think it is a “Reverse smile” type but you should look at this entire thread it is very educational.

Thanks! Yes read the whole thread. Am looking at CFC, specially since I can swing past them and pick it up in person. What was/is confusing is everyone says "reverse smile", yet CFC postings say "Smile". I might just ring them tomorrow morning and talk to them. Once again thanks @NedZeppelin !

Did you ever get an answer on this? It is confusing, everyone in the thread says they ordered the "reverse smile" yet @cofairingco says on their website and in posts that you should order the "smile" version.

I would contact them directly. Here is what I ordered and installed on my Defender (you can see pictures of it installed in this thread).

I bought the "Smile" type (photos in my previous posting). That was on the advice of Colorado Fairing:

"...a smile shape, which is what we recommend for the oem rack..."
