Hello, We came from Poland and we love to travel with our car. As some of You, we fall in love in Land Rover and our small friend is Defender 110.
In our heart we got "One life, Live it" - and we decided to make something special - what should be expected from LR owners - we want 2 travel around the Africa. I know, I know it sounds very unrealistic but we already started our preparation .

Why we write all fo that? SImple - we need 3 more cars with about 6-9 more people who are ready or this unusal experience . Trip is planned in early 2014 (january/february) - and it takes Us 2-3 months. What we need is - 3-4 cars ready 2 long African road and people with big hearts and open minds .

We r looking especialy for: 2 mechanics with LR knowledge and 1 doc - but whats most important is - passion for travel.

Would advise that complete set of Rover tech manuals be carried on USB drives so info can be retrieved as needed. I have also seen the RAVE manual in languages other than English on line, so that could be helpful as well. And look at the Ultra Gauge, a good code scanner/reseter/data display. Finding out you are overheating 500 miles from water is bad. Would advise adding oil PSI gauge to vehicles. In other words, give your technical staff all the advance warnings they can get.

And post pix, we arm chair ramblers are easily entertained.

 

thx - tech manual already have - will not be very easy hehe cause our deff is 2009 made so its td4 .

many modifications we already made - unfortunately some r still before us .

Ultra Gauge - i will look on polish market we c exist anything intresting .

main prob still will be not car - but people - we need 3-4 more cars 2 realy think its possible .
