Just realized this forum was pointed to an old e-mail address - corrected. No Rover until January? How much wheeling can you do in the winter? Is this a next year thing?

Depending on the trails you're planning on taking will dictate what Rover I drive - my '92 Classic with 33's or my stock 4.0SE on air suspension. Somebody needs to set a firm date / time and then people can plan and commit.

I try not to get my truck out too much in the winter, don't like rust! I'll definitely be going to the Maine Winter Romp though!

People should go to the Vermont Overland Rally this weekend for some fun off roading!

I'll definitely keep everyone posted. My rover is not paid off until the end of November and I'd like to service the check engine light and replace the front prop shaft and add some premium rubber before I take her on any off road trip, I figured I'd have all the accomplished by the end of December. I intentionally created this months early to give people enough time to prepare and organize a date in which we can all make the trip. Now's the time to prep your rovers and rolling out the maps! Worst case scenario we can wait until the snow clears to get together depends on everyone's preference. Nevertheless I'm going to get my under body under coated to reduce the rust and salt damage. Keep me posted everyone!

Regards all

PS: I may end up selling my Saab in which case I'll use the extra cash to get my rover prepped even sooner. Alternatively if everyone wants to get together sooner, before the snow hits and before I get my rover then I'll come along and act as a photographer for the event. I could meet up with you guys and we could go from there. To this end once we get to the off-roading I'd like to ride with one of you guys if you permit? Either way let me know what works best for everyone. And note that we can get together on multiple occasions in the future so no rush.
