Default LR3 Removing Radio

I have no AUX output at the back of the console. I guess there is a connection from the stereo, but I first need to get there. How Can I REMOVE the radio? Has anyone done it before?

Default RE: LR3 Removing Radio

I think the LR3 is too new to remove Radio. It was designed in conjunction with Land Rover by Alpine. I don't think that anyone has come out with a kit to do that. If you have the Blue Tooth telephone you could probably forget about it, ever using those buttons on the steering wheel. Who knows what else it is connected to. Why do you want to take it out. I'm guessing to fit an I-POD. DLO makes a pretty good FM modulator, that will allow you to use tha Ipod but not control it. I think Harmon Kardon make a unit that will intergrate with the factory stereo with an additonal set of controls.

since the LR3 uses a MOST system u might want to contact www.nav-tv.com as they have an iPod adapter which integrates into the factory system. also Alpine's Orb works well...
