okay...well i have purchased a stock tape/radio receiver for a 97 disco. i have the code to disarm the anti-theft. what sepuence do i need to use or how do i enter it? have tried everything i can think of but nothing seems to do the trick.

When you power on the radio, it should say CODE on the display. Enter the code using the numeric buttons, and if you have the correct code it should work at that point. I take it that is not happening.

yah, that is exactly what my first attempt was. there is a beep that sounds the first and then about every fifth or forth. i also tried pushing the same one until it beeped at me, taking that as it recieving the number as a part of the code.
