Know it's been crickets around here lately, but l'm taking this build slow and really thinking things out before moving forward. Scouring out pictures of defender sleeping platforms and cabinets and such. Would realy like to go old school with wood cabinet on one side of rear compartment and wood panel for rear door.
Anyhow, bear with me folks...there's plenty going on behind the scenes.
Awesome.
Im patiently waiting for that day I pick up my first defender.
Ironically, I’ve seen plenty in the last month (and seemingly only in the past month or so) with that decal application. I was also thinking the like; I don’t care for it, wonder what time period it was popular & what it’s significance, design execution was.
“County” trim was the highest level luxury trim level. Instead of vinyl seats you got cloth, brushwood in the early models and some other luxuries like 5 doors and 2nd and 3rd row
seating. The stripes were all pretty much 80’s and signified the higher level trim specification.
I'm still rocking mine for now. Don't know if I will put them back on after I clean it up and change the color.
Please don’t do that!
I’ll you a replacement 110 i exchange for your trident green county whenever you’re so inclined. The two tone early trucks are so incredibly rare and that color is absolutely classic. Does yours have 2nd row half doors ? (Even rarer)
I believe it does and the loadspace inward facing benches etc
That color reminds me of an 80's bathroom though. Robert trust me whatever you have is way nicer than mine. But if you have something mind let me know before I get to much further down the rabbit hole
Went and checked it has the split top back doors.
Also sorry for the hijacking
