Default 1998 Disco Series 1 50th Anniversary Build

Here is my 1998 Disco series 1 50th anniversary that I picked up CL 2 years ago for $450.00. It was bumped in the rear and it shut off the fuel pump. I checked the inertia switch on fire wall. It was tripped, so I threw a battery in and it started. I needed to replace all the brakes, because it sat for 2 years in the PO's yard. But, I'm lucky and have a dealer account at local parts store. The calipers, rotors, pads, seals, and bearings (inner & outer) were all replaced. Then I replaced the PCV hose (collapsed) and the little curly cue plastic thingy in the hose. Also I was really lucky on my adventures to the junk yard, found brand new OEM plugs and wires for same disco $65.00 for them was a steal. Also found headlight and tail light guards for 40 a set. I just finished up a steering gear swap last week (leaking). I found it used on car-parts.com for $50.00+ $25.00 for shipping. When I got it, that baby was literally like new. I think someone replaced it on their disco before junking it. I have been fighting the stupid keyless system, I hate it, never works properly. I'm thinking about trying a mod I found to disable the keyless. I am also going to remove OEM door locks and install a Spal power door lock kit and a Sytek cellular GPS alarm, remote start system. I have many mods planned in future, but We sold our business and the Fuhrer wants me to get a real job. So I'm performing just little things for now. Any suggestions would be great for mods. Thanks in advance.

So today I decided to clean up the engine bay and frame because it was full of grime from leaking steering gear. I found this product called Purple Power and it works awesome. I recommend not diluting it for heavy grease and brake dust, or 50-50 for stubborn stains like on carpet and or leather. Then 30-70 (70= h2o) for light duty cleaning. Anyways now she's all cleaned up in engine area and below.

Sounds like it was damaged at some point in the past if the top of the door sticks out. My only guess would be the hinges. Bent? Offset? If you need measurements for what it should be let me know.

one of the hinges may actually be broken and just "hanging on", prop up the door, and they are easy to remove to check

No, they are solid. It seems the top of door is adjusted out too far. Need to tip top of cargo door in towards body and bring bottom of door away from body. And i need new seals, gonna try to find some d2 seals and replace all of them

Clicking is usually a CV joint but since it stops when braking i would be checking the hub bearings and their pre-load adjustment and go over the calipers/ pads.
