They are on the bulky side and are definitely a workout

@soarvet Yea mine leaks a bit, the suggestion I was given was a big floor jack and a 2x4 frame to keep it in place. Transmission jack might be easier but no one rents them around here

Well, things have been progressing. I have the new transfer case installed. It wasn’t as bad as I thought getting it in. Took some finagling and patience and eventually succumbed to my banging, twisting, and cursing. Got everything wired up and tested the CDL. Got a nice light in the top left of my instrument panel, so everything is good. With that done, I tackled the lift. The lift went in without a hitch. Since I went with the 3 inch lift I figured it would be wise to install some new extended steel braided brake lines. New rims and tires and she’s sittin’ pretty. Almost thought I wasn’t gonna get it out the garage, but I got her out barely.

I actually had to cut some of the bumper as I was getting some pretty good rubbing at full turn. Next on the list is new bumpers I think and rock sliders. Here’s a few pictures from today after I took her on a test drive to test out the CDL and make sure I could go from Hi to Low range and back.

Been a minute since I last posted. Been hopping back and forth between projects. I've had a pretty decent oil leak that covers the bottom of my engine and drivers side chassis. I tracked it down to the front crank seal. Finally got around to changing the seal out. Had a couple grooves in the Harmonic Balancer where it rides in the seal.

Installed a jiffy sleeve and got it put back together. Looks like it fixed the oil issue. Went on a short 5 mile test drive, got home and crawled under the Disco. It was dry so time will tell. I'd like to get a couple hundred miles on to really see if it fixed the leaking I was experiencing.

On another note: I got front and rear bumpers installed:

rear bumper installed.
