95 D1 Build:

These are the 2 pics I have on my phone. I had a thread under the engine section, but it doesn't get viewed as much. Only thing in that pic which has changed is the sensor on the airbox lid. I removed it and used a nice bolt with a wide head vs having a sensor which did nothing.
I like the use of the newer TPS & IAC as well. My best friend made 2 custom harnesses to adapt the different plugs to the OEM 3.9L harness, so if for some reason I ever needed to go back to a stock 3.9/4.2L the older style TPS & IAC would plug right back in.
The rest was pretty simple. Rerouting a few vacuum lines like for the brake booster (used GEMS D1 OEM line), switched to a GEMS PCV setup vs the 3.9L style, and drilling a very tiny hole into the 4.6L plenum for the vacuum advance and then adding a nipple for the vacuum hose.
It's basically all the generations of the D1 & D2 under one bonnet. Zero CEL, and everything works and operates like OEM.
I've seen a few transplants of 4.6L's into a 14CUX D1 and they either kept the 3.9L plenum or hacked it together. I'm extremely proud of the results and I have never seen GEMS TPS/IAC used on a 14CUX setup.
