In-cab winch controls are awesome. Definitely a game changer.
I wired my winch controls power to a 3 way switch. Up(winch), Middle(off), Down(compressor) Then i used the stock Volume Up/Down buttons for In/Out controls.
Its nice to not have the winch controller hanging in through your window.

 

I am sure its more convenient. got the slim version of these with the Plan B

Started the rover and it runs haha plot twist, wrong incab winch hookups.... my warn is a 5 wire and i dont want to screw with converting it to a 3 wire.

 

What winch? Anything with the newer style contactor should only need 3 wires. And can't you just take the Hot Out from your switch and splice it into the Hot In for the In or Out function on your winch?
