To prep for the camping trip this weekend I decided to load out the husky box. It fit everything and the kitchen sink (if I had one). I think it will work out great in the trailer. I should be able to store this in the trailer and the case will keep the creepy crawly things around here out.
In the husky box:
Coleman camp stove
Propane Grill
2 pots
3 pans
fire extinguisher
3 1lbs propane tanks
2 cups
2 can coolers
paper towels
baby wipes
need to add the camp kitchen in and utensils
A couple pics of the LR3 loaded for Friday.

Same way, dig a hole and be done with it. Once you "go" in that bucket/plastic bag...you have to get rid of it somewhere and handle it.
Watching along on your build. Sometimes a trailer/camper crosses my mind, but I trailer my rover...so having both to trailer would be difficult...not impossible...but difficult.
Brian.

Brian I'll warn you this one likely will be use-able by April for SCARR and likely not finished till ROTR 10 in Nov.
I have the basic outline done, drawings, and have found sources for the materials. After Christmas the shopping and building can begin.
Although here and there I'm knocking things off the list now, picked up the Big Buddy heater on black Friday, a propane tank and Husky Job Site 50 gallon box. Yesterday the 12 foot hose and regulator for the big buddy showed up so little victories.
The basic trailer will be going to the Midwest over the holidays to help with all the crap we take since our 2 dogs will be filling the load space.
After that I can chop off all the stuff I don't want and start welding up the stuff I do want.
Thinking I'm going to color match the trailer as best I can to the Bonatti Gray on my LR3

Ok so we had a little time today to sit down and start putting ideas to paper for the trailer design. It was nice we got to see a couple different RTT setups at the SOLAROS Christmas event. Then as we relaxed in the evening we kicked ideas around and things we liked.
So tonight this is what we drew up. I suck at circles just a FYI. So we will be adding the propane cylinder to the front tongue beam and likely a rack to either side of it as well that can be used for jerry cans or firewood. We also like the idea of a swing away tire carrier on the back end or just mounted underneath behind the axle.
We are still working through the lift system for the tent and the rack to put it on.

Got the front view done to. Still working on ideas for the lift mech to push the tent up and down.
From the guess-timates of height looks like it will need to lift up about 30" to hit my 78" desired height.
The electric actuators are one possible, another idea I had is the RV scissor jacks. Possibly put a electric motor on them to raise and lower it.
