One of the top reasons why I sold my RTT and went back to a ground tent. Then again, i’m 50+, so there’s that.

I'm a bit younger but not that worried about that yet.

Called a couple of local steel places today should hopefully have an idea of how much the steel is going to set me back to build the box and lid.

So slow on updates as promised. I managed to lock in a batwing awning, wall kit and floor kit from Trail Tailor's group buy. So I am super happy about that.

So the end result will be like the picture but mounted on a trailer with no Jeep.

The week of New Years I'm off all week, so hopefully a big dent in cleaning up the Garage can happen with a lot of clear out of un-needed parts. Already was able to re-home some thule roof bars for a RRC and a pair of RRC Hunter rims.

The clean out will likely bring in a couple bucks but more importantly it will open room to work and weld!

Yeah if only it was that easy to get knocked out in real life lol. First up is new control arms on the front 1 rear upper control arm and 2 lower steering shafts on the LR3s. Need to order new tires for mine in there some where to lol

Than I can start playing with the trailer. I think that set up on the trailer is going to be the cats *** when I'm out at a event like SCARR or MAR for 4 days at a time

No doubt, cool and very practical. It's not often you can use those 2 words together.

BUT if you really want to go NUTS, expand the tent footprint into this whole bunch of crazy.
You just know 1 of those minivans is running!

That looks way beyond the level of labor I'm willing to give to set up camp.

The base camp set up is about the maximum level of effort in set up I have

So then I guess this would be a No too? Just think you might have room to bring your Baby Grand Piano on the trip.

That seems a bit much to me

Down the road I would add one of those little shower tent things though
