Sill sliders are finalized and they are off to the laser cutter for reverse engineering and production.

Thanks for the help on measurements.

Clancy will be naked for a little bit. I'm going to finish off the base rear bumper and get that shipped out as well. I will deal with the swing arm when those return, make final fit adjustments and then hopefully be able to release the two styles of rear bumper.

I think the front might stay the same. I don't think the D1 can pull off the structure to the design I have rolling around in my head. When I get a free day I'm going to try and just mock up the front in cardboard and see what I think.

ScanGauge arrived for that pesky future work...

The scangauge is handy. You'll never know if the design works if you don't try.

At least your front bumper wasn't the victim of a large ice block failing off a semi. My right front is all cracked up and vibrating annoyingly in the wind.

I've built enough bumpers to know the most visual limitations. Like I said, I'll try to mock it up out of cardboard, but just don't see it.

Almost done with the standard base rear.

I need to add a belly piece and it'll be done.

are those recovery points tied in to anything other than the factory sheetmetal bumper mount tabs on the frame?
