Well had a setback , more of a issue I expected, my wife opened the back door and found the trailer full of water, all our camping gear soaked ugh, called me so I had to drop everything and come home, empty the trailer, dry it out, shove my son in it and hose it down, just as I thought, the gasket on the read door failed and I never put a gutter over the doors so water ran off the roof and in the trailer

Solution was simple cut a few strips of 16 gauge and welded them on over the doors so the water runs off need to snap a pic but testing shows it solved the problem

No updates , no leaks , we used it a few months back for boy scouts, perfect " bear box" lol

Mostly been adding gear and working out changes or additions in my mind, one thing I do notice is the trailer dances too much on dirt roads, thinking of longer springs or add shocks, maybe a brake setup, but this is all way into the future since none of its pressing

Also thinking to add a roof basket or rails so I can carry more stuff or long items like canoe or kayak or the big roof box I have ( can't remember what its called)

I think you should mount either a thule roof rack or yakima roof rack. Reason why, so you can install a roof cargo rack, or remove it and install kayak mounts, or remove and bike mounts, etc, etc. Great job, I have an awesome little 5x9 snowmobile trailer with plywood sides that we use all the time camping. I've been thinking doing something similar, but like a little kitchen with fridge(12v & propane) then a nice size grille on one side, the huge guide tents we have can go in the center section, big cooler on other side for food and drink. great job, maybe some air shock on the trailer might help
