Finally got the engine, transmission and transfer case pulled from the parts truck. May end up needing to swap out the transmission in my white truck, but only after I unbolt it from the Turner block and inspect the flywheel and gear ring. May even get to the bottom of what caused the Turner block failure to in regards to the loss of oil pressure. Doubt Ill ever figure out why the engine kept misfiring .
Moving forward Im gonna store the Turner block and plan for a disassembly and rebuild as needed sometime far down the road. Kinda want to get the tranny rebuilt befor swapping it into my white truck but time will tell.
Seeing how the headliner in my white truck is sagging, I figured Id pull the headliner from the parts truck, refurbish it and swap out the bad headliner. I found the job pretty easy and did not take me long to pull it out the back.

Thank you!!!! It was one hell of a project and a learning curve. Biggest issue was trying to removed rusted/seized bolts. Didn't even bother trying to unbolt the exhaust and opted for cutting wheel instead. Wish I had a Sawzall cause it probably would have saved me some time and many cutting wheels; especially when cutting the front end off. I was pretty concerned about removing the engine and transmission mounts. Thought everything would come crashing down atop of me... Ended up setting up 2 jack stands and a couple pieces of wood just in case.
When I got everything disconnected and cut the property owner came up with his tracker and some good o fashioned chains and helped me get the engine out of the truck. Was very interesting.

Renovating
Headliner pulled and all the trim and seatbelts behind front seats have been removed. Carpet, toe down points, bins etc GONE. Headliner from white D2 is in better shape than the liner I pulled from the parts truck so gonna use this one instead.
Cleaning up the upper floor panel and trying Rust-Oleum Rust Dissolver on tie downs and fuel pump cover. Big plans and much to do.
