got the rad back today, had 5 bad tubes that were not able to be rodded all at the top and the bottom was clogged no big surprise, he says the rad will last a little while but the fins are disintegrating and recommends buying an aluminum one in a few years

got it installed and idles at 185* we will see what happens when it gets hot out

the one I removed from my rover today looked externally waay worse then the donor I had rodded I was considering having it done also but think I may hit the scrap bin

also got the upper trans cooler line from the rad to the remote cooler replaced since it was crazy routed

went trail riding at a friends property today and found a few things out
1) my hf winch setup with the wireless remote works awesome very happy with this
2)running boards I really like and need for the boy and wife need to go to easy to get hung up on
3)my nice continental contitrac tires could be a little more aggressive for mud but work great for trails so I am up in the air with the tire tread since I am mainly on road and the drive great on road and wear long
4)the shocks and springs I installed work great I would like to be a little higher but not much cause then all the high branches would be whacking the body so I am up in the air on the suspension size
5) have to get safari rack
6) cdl and low worked great no idea how you trail ride without the cdl
7) fix a/c
8) be extremely careful winching with wife behind the wheel
9) think I get plenty of articulation with sway bars on

I see you had the factory brush guard prior to your mods with the Sahara grill, discrete mount and new front bumper....

I have the same discrete winch mount that I havent installed yet. Question - is it possible to use the discrete mount with the factory brush guard? I can see where it mounts to the frame at the same place as the stock bumper & brush guard. Can I use all 3 (ie, stock bumper, stock brush guard, & discrete winch mount) if I get some longer bolts???

I did, but had to cut out the lower center crossbar for the brush guard I made my hidden bracket so it may sit lower then yours, look through all the pics

I did drill the holes out in the bumper and bg to 1/2" the holes in the frame are 1/2" but you need to ream them with a 1/2" bit to be sure
