dropped the headliner to reseal the roof rack it is a major pita with rear a/c as you need to remove the ductwork over the second row seats to access the rear bolt drivers side(usa) I do not think you can sufficiently reseal this without removal since there is a huge hole in the roof where each stud goes through 1/2" + diameter

I used permatex ultra-black and a lot of it don't want to do this twice, tried it in the pressurized can and worked great much easier then fighting with a tube

I also ran water over the roof after words with the H/L still down and I overflowed the front sunroof onto the console bad but only once could not replicate it the drains look to be working and I now see why the base of the a pillar near the rocker rots since that's where the sunroof drains go, I also see that in a bad downpour the roof gutters will overflow and water runs in at all the door tops even though the gaskets are good I do mean a down pour since I was running the garden hose wide open with no nozzle on the roof

re replaced drivers window reg.

The drains only work if the truck is level. Otherwise forget it.

pulled the heads today and dropped em at the machine shop, now there was a thermo disc on the front of the pass side head so either this had a junkyard engine put in or a reman engine, no other reason for those to be on there

dropped the y pipe and both cats are shot/ falling apart, removed the running boards since trail riding has beat up the pass side one and got intake and plenum re cleaned, pushrods clean, also disassembled one side rocker assembly to clean lube and reassemble

plugs look a little on the lean side same with the carbon on a few valves, debating whether or not to pull the timing chain cover since I am this far into it and try to do a more thorough cleaning I definitely do not want to do this again

I fully expect that the machine shop will say they had to deck the heads since the center bolt on each head was so tight a 300 ft lb impact would not remove it we ended up using a 3' long breaker bar and a lot of muscle, the gaskets were composite and messed up at both ends on both heads at the coolant channels

I may have missed it, but why are you tearing apart the motor?
