The feeling i'm feeling now is.. amazing. Been a long road thus far and i'm sure there is plenty more to explore -- Just happy to finally drive the damn thing. Right as I was pulling up to get tested, MagPie decided to throw a P1174 code which i quickly cleared with the UG but certainly something i gotta investigate. I think its a vac leak but i'll have to read up on it some more. Truck still has 100% water in it and UG was registering 190-197 while driving both fwy and on streets -- it is in the mid 90's today. Got to reuse my old Volvo plates as well which was nice!

Anticipation is a bitch.

Put on about 100 miles since yesterday.. so far so good. I decided to keep the water in the system and just add wetter water and not bother with the green stuff just yet. Its all bled and working properly and temps are good so not gonna futz with it. Its been hot as ***** here, pushin 100 degrees -- with the AC on the fwy temps were 190-194 and crept up to 200 on steep hills but quickly went back down on the other side.

I'm happy.

Just keeping things updated..

Been meaning to do this mod for a while now, did the same thing to my Wife's 93' Volvo and couldnt be happier. Super easy to do, just gotta tear into the center console and remove the lighter -- then wire up the USB port and thats about it. The cig lighter wires already had spade connectors on them, just had to remove them from the housing they were in and plug them into the back to the USB plug. Had to do a tiny bit of sanding around the opening to make the USB plug fit -- no biggie.

Gross.

The MagPie is finally flyin'! Congrats man!

Look into the Grom-BT3. Sound quality is far better than those tape deck adapters. And incredibly easy to install!

Yep, that is the plan but alas.. funds are tight so gonna have to tape deck it for now. That is when the tape deck decides to actually work.. Bleh.

Driving to school tomorrow so hoping to weld up that hole in the muffler when i have some free time.

Thought i'd check on the coolant level after driving around the past few days today.. Well, it was low which is crappy. BUT it is clear as to where it went from the pic below!

Upper hoses were coated in coolant (i'm assuming it was -- it was sticky and glossy) soooo... I guess i picked the wrong OEM clamps to use for the job. Had some slightly smaller ones and a traditional clamp so we'll see how that holds up. It has been hot as ***** here in Denver, so not surprised if the cooling system is pressurized more than normal

Fixed.
