Thanks, I’m just glad my wifey is ok. I’d post pictures but until we get insurance stuff all settled it’s probably not a good idea

Hopefully, your wife has a full recovery soon and life is back to normal.

Love you guys

Wifey is doing a ton better, her volvo is being towed away and we got a really generous check -- way more than we could have sold the car for on CL so we're happy about that i guess.

MagPie is doing alright, just rolled passed 137k and still working just fine.. I do still have a vibration at hwy speeds so i'm thinking i'm gonna yank the front shaft off to rule that out since it was a "cheaper" unit but otherwise need to get the tires checked for balance. I'm just hoping its not something like the diff is going bad or something with the tcase causing the vibrations. ALTHOUGH it could be ball joints since i've read those could cause weird things to happen when they are going bad.

Yes that's awesome news that the Mrs is doing better!!

Your D2 is pretty lifted, AB sells a spacer for the front drive shaft they recommend on taller than 2inch lifted D2's (never have used one personally). I've got 3inch lifts on all 3 of my D2's but they've all got HD front bumpers and 2 have winches up front so the weight keeps the nose down a bit. When I didn't have the HD bumpers or the winches I had slight vibes above say 65MPH. Once I installed the HD bumpers and winches the vibes went away.

Gotcha.

I'm questioning that i'm using the wrong grease in all the joints Greased up the shaft at work with the green stuff, vibrations were super reduced driving home -- a few hundred miles and the vibration is back. Bleh.

I think i'm just going to remove the shaft again and just lock the CDL to eliminate it from the list of possibilities and then go from there
