Project Dirty White
Thanks for the info. I'll try that. I've already tried the simple green. Maybe the key is foam.
Today I got some prices to have my distributor installed. I feel so degraded. I've not paid for work I can do ever. It's either this or it waits 5 more weeks.

Eh, if you have the cash, who cares. I've been had to accept this on a few things based on time starting to be my most important commodity with kids and such.
Don't beat yourself up- sounds like you already did with the recovery- and accept it. I paid to have a couple things done to the Disco more out of a lack of time than anything. I don't regret it.

Why must the Gods of Rover tempt me so...why? Been having a little fun with this one. Runs excellent. Needs minor work. Its probably too clean and unmolested for me to keep. Instead I spent a day detailing it and took it to take pics of its sexiness. The Classic will have to wait a bit but I'm having a little fun before I sell it.

Show me on this doll where the bad man touched you.
Grrr the Classic must be pissed. Worked all day on it...still can't get it started. Man I'm frustrated. It's about 2 seconds from getting shipped to a local LR guru. I feel like a quitter but man I'm not getting anywhere with this thing. Hours and still no spark

Just for some inspiration for you to get back to the RRC (Ok not the same year, but damn nice) > Land Rover Specialist RR CLASSIC - Project Range Rover Classic Stornoway Grey
I think they copied your woodwork!!!!
I like the customer P38 power seats in that RRC, but you'd honestly have to adjust em with the doors open as there isn't that much room there for someone with decent sized hands. Very nicely done restore work on that RRC.
Yeah it is! That rig just looks right on so many levels. Starting with the OverFinch bumpers....and so on. They have ben making cool Rover bits for years > HISTORY - US . I had a chance to buy a set of bumpers about 5 years ago and didn't pull the trigger.
I must go drink that bad memory way.
