Heck, you'll probably be driving right past me going there.
lol maybe but I fully intend to have the MGB put back together before the move.

Thanks drowssap

Call me silly, but now with the second side done, to include those wheel well reinforced body mounts repaired.....it has a 'much' firmer feel to it, obviously a little quieter with the wheel well sealed up as well!

I think it was worth the effort!

What is this "rot" you speak of?

I'm aware, my UK friends advised me to beware, cargo area is good, balance is questionable.......

Thinnest I go is 14ga on any project, that way I can float the welds to the lessor materials........body mounts 3/16".......That's probably thicker than the frame under these things even using a bad metric conversion chart. (consider I only run .035 wire)

I've got 'a lot' going on with the personal side of life concerning a parent so I may be quiet for a while.....pretty much side time is on hold and I'm about to put another instant 1,800 miles on her when the phone rings.....although I'm considering the Honda to eliminate possible issue's..........Unsure, it's all new, but if I post pictures of the tramp posed on the outer banks.......you'll know I took the Super Model...........Nothing worse than ocean sand in panties.......Well, outside of that and a funeral combined......Ugh, life...

Sorry to hear the news Mark. Hope you don't get that call. What's odd is that type of life event has been recently a topic at work too. Two buds there are going through the same thing. I lost my Dad several years ago now so I'm oldest bro in the work family to coach on losses and getting through.

Thanks for the gauge, been considering a few spots when the truck is out of rotation this spring/summer. I've got a nice little Miller Tig unit itching to puddle some Rovah steel.

Thank you Doug.
Phone rang, he passed 8:30 this morning....it's all good, his last 6 months haven't been pretty so while sad, he's in a better place as they say....

I think the tramp is going on a trip, I'll leave the Honda for the wife as this will be a solo trip and junior needs to be in school. Doug, your on stand-by....be warned! Think I'm going to give it another quick oil change before I leave, just to be safe....
