Yeee haaaa......Took 'er out today, 1st time since install....it was 92 degree and fairly humid....

The gauge was actually slightly lower than normal thru-out, on/off a couple times, idled, got heavy on the skinny a few times, A/C blasting....needle on gauge was visibly slightly lower......
Turned AC off when I got back, let it idle.......put my hand over the louvers, the hot air was blowing out like an HVAC floor vent, literally blowing out.
25 minutes walked by it, hot....like can hardly keep your hand there hot.

True biscuit warmers, winner winner chicken dinner!!

Looks great! I haven't been able to get my cousins thermal imaging camera back to snap a pic of the heat escaping but i did put my IT thermometer on mine last night. Temperature variance between the hood and the louvers was ~60 degrees. The Louvers let out a LOT of heat, especially at low speeds.

Here's mine. I'm also super happy with how it all turned out.

No problems with water ingress to report either (and we've had some very unusual heavy rain recently)

Nice! Where did you get that from? I don't see any screws, how did you secure it?

Thank you Robert, and that's a good looking set up you have there!

Another 95 degree day yesterday....gave it 'extended' idle time twice as that's where I sometimes have issues......needle hardly moved.

Often thought about the H2 hood insert Shifty....I don't think the louvers are actually 'open' on those...

I can confirm that the H2 insert is just for show.

I temporarily mounted the IR thermometer (cheap model from harbor freight) on the wiper blades as it was mostly for looking at temps while idling and driving in low range, then had my passenger report back what she was seeing. I'm not seeing a difference in engine temps, but I am seeing a big difference in under hood temperatures and a noticeable difference in the heat that seeps into the front of the cabin.
