Cleaned the whole mess up, new lines.....engine paint on the caliper....

 

Honestly starting to take interest on Yota FJ62's........a lot more room at the same size rig, less rust, same bad gas mileage, narley drivetrain.....few and far between. Also considering a total rebuild of a different LR donor....sooo much going on though...it's hard to focus!

Oh.......cleaned up the shop! It won't/never stay clean long!



Even better, scored a new old skool power source for my daily JAMS!!!!

It might be awhile before he feels the bump. Don't know if he still has the Rover, may have sold it by now.

 

Sorry to see him go, he had some serious skills. Hopefully, he gets another rover soon.

He just moved to another state, he's not dead although this thread might be....... He moved to Maine and is getting the his new hacienda move-in-able. Better to be missed than forgotten...... Might be a little harder to find a decent Rover up dare as winters are pretty harsh and so is the red rot. He asked me if I wanted his truck and I'll probably regret not taking him up on it because if nothing else it was a one of a kind Detour special Rovah.

 

Sticky status threads don't die or become forgotten..

I'm sure he's eating lobsta, catching up with old friends and getting his shop in order.
